Things to do Leisure Facilities We are pleased to announce that we are able to offer our guests free use of the Leisure Club facilities at the Salcombe Harbour Hotel ( previously called Marine Hotel). They include,gym, pool, sauna jacussi and steam room. Walking You can walk out of our door and be on the SW coastal path,all 625 miles of it, or you can sit and enjoy some of our 9 sandy safe beaches. There is also fantastic walking for all ages and standards in Dartmoor National Park which is about 40 min away. Water Sports If you are interested in water sports you can hire a dinghy or have sailing instruction with the ICC based in Salcombe http://www.icc-salcombe.co.uk. You can also hire a small motor boat and explore the creeks of the Estuary or go fishing. There is also a very good surfing and kite boarding beach 15 mins away at Bantham. For those wishing a quieter time, there is the National Trust property Overbecks to visit with its superb garden and views. There are also many other NT properties in the area to visits for example Coleton Fishacre in Dartmouth and Greenways, Agatha Chrisitie old home where the garden only is open.
